.dreams in rothko.

mark rothko's works have been haunting my psyche. he is one of my favorite artists and for the past couple of weeks his paintings have been showing up in my dreams, which i will always happily welcome. today i went to the library and art store to pick up a an abstract painting book, oil pastels, and a canvas-and wallah!, my own rotko.

such a relaxing afternoon project, i recommend everyone to have a go at it.

started the week off perfectly with a much needed spin class and a great new pair of earrings. with rising temps and less clothing needed, i finds its my favourite time to accessorize with large, focal point jewelry pieces...the next best alternative to coats, scarves and boots.
