.a day of nothing in particular.

things happen when you have absolutely nothing to do. below are a few examples of this sentiment when your goal is to just enjoy and take in your surroundings. a necklace can stand as a headpiece, your sisters red light fixture can turn into a great portrait, and bubbles on the highline can become a three-hour date with your two year old niece.

.west side highway.

waking up in the west village gives you every good reason to get up to get a great run in. one of my favorite things to do when i'm in the city is to grab a coffee and run the west side highway down to the financial district. not to mention sharing this view with my niece and sister in tow, love.

.kiyo and the killer cut.

i will say ive never been a believer in a 'life-changing haircut. ive been blessed with a thick head of hair that grows like a weed so i think half my hesitance is based on how addictive and frequent a great haircut might cost. all went lost when my sister introduced me to kiyo, a japanese surfer/hair stylist that converted me. below is a photo of my last night in the city with my new coif. thankfully, kiyo is a plane ride away so convenience isn't a risk. kiyo's info below.
