.for a mid century junkie: the fix.

today opened my eyes to an entirely new scene in phoenix, or at least the tiny vintage furniture pocket of it. i have always loved danish and mid century design-i think alot of it has to do with the focus on multi-functional uses its pieces often boast. living in chicago, a design-rich city, i started to collect pieces that have moved to phoenix with me. a half coffee table half planter and a desk chair that has a hidden storage under its seat are both thrills for me-i think its the excitement of having one piece of furniture functioning as both beautiful and efficient.

i was lucky enough today to visit two amazing vintage furniture stores, melrose market and modern manor which were both nice enough to let me document their incredible collections of furniture, art and jewelry. if it wasn't for the scorching 115 degrees out, i might have been to both till close. i will be back to each soon enough and was so happy i got to visit them on today's adventures!

below are some images & links to their locations.
